Kimberly & Ray's Engagement Sessions | Golden Gate Park, San Francisco & Old Sacramento, CA

It's always a treat to get to travel for my couples, because they usually end up taking me to beautiful locations that end up feeling like a mini vacation. Kim and Ray wanted a natural setting with lots of greenery and water. I knew Golden Gate Park in San Francisco would be the perfect choice. The park  is huge, and for a photoshoot, you only need to stay in one section to get a variety of scenic backdrops. We decided to go to the Stow Lake area which includes many pretty views: a large bridge over-looking paddle boaters, a field of cala lilies (depending on the month), a couple of waterfalls, and long trails taking you around the lake and up through Strawberry Hill, to name a few. Ah, romance is in the air.

After the beautiful photoshoot in the city, Kim and Ray also scheduled a mini session in Old Sacramento to add to their collection. They changed up their look and set a whole new romantic (and very sassy) mood. We had a blast walking along the Sacramento River as the sun set, creating a wonderful golden glow on these beautiful lovers. Cheers!
