Kenna + Ky's Cozy Lifestyle and Beach Engagement Session | Monterey Carmel California

When Kenna and Ky asked me to photograph their engagement session in Monterey and Carmel, I was excited. When she asked me to include their dog, Bentley, I had to pinch myself. 

To break the session up, and give some quiet time later on, I suggested a lifestyle session in the comfort of their home with their beautiful fur baby. Lots of puppy cuddles were had :) Then we moved on to some flirty and playful moments. I always tell my couples to do what feels most comfortable to them and do things they normally do on a daily basis. For Kenna and Ky, one of their games is “who can get to the favorite chair first”.  These guys were seriously so much fun.

We then headed over to some epic locations in Carmel where this beautiful couple got to play, and dance, and kiss to their heart’s content. The weather was perfect, the beaches were amazing, and the sunset was fantastic. 

I am incredibly grateful for this passionate dream I get to call my career. I document couple’s love stories in their homes and favorite destinations, all the while enjoying and exploring the beauty of this world. I eagerly await the day we can all go out again and create wonderful memories together. For now, find time for self care, whether it be a walk in the sunshine with deep breaths, or a nice, long bubble bath by the flickering light of candles. Positive thoughts, my friends. It’s a hell of a drug!
