What a beautiful day for a hike through the Auburn woods. The sun shined bright as a cool breeze filled the gorgeous trees over us. Everyone came well-prepared with comfortable shoes, water, and mosquito repellent (it came in handy later on).

I love it when couples are down for an adventure in even the dressiest of outfits! I must say, Monica had no problem walking up and down some of the steepest hills in her high heels (next to a waterfall, mind you). She was quite the bad-ass bride if I don’t say so myself.

Monica and her soon-to-be hubby, Orlando effortlessly cuddled, kissed, and whispered sweet nothings into each other’s ears as I stood back and got to photograph all of these adorable moments take place. Yes, I am the ultimate professional creeper, and I adore every moment of it. :)

We hiked through dense trees to spectacular views, and to a fantastically cozy and secluded stream area with many more water falls.

For all of you adventurers and elopement lovers looking for a place to capture your wild, passionate side, and reside within the Sacramento region, Hidden Falls Park is a wonderful, local place to feel completely separated from city life and to simply "get away from it all".
