CHELSEA + JOSH'S WEDDING | BURSON, CA

Though I love this moody weather, while Fantasia on a Theme by Tallis plays in the background, I thoroughly enjoy looking back on warm, sunny Spring weddings. Chelsea and Josh’s wedding last year was nothing short of country wedding perfection. 

Chelsea’s Dad decided to build them a wedding venue on his property in Burson. With rolling green hills and huge oak trees, this place was beyond romantic. He created: a dance floor, barn/bar area attached, bathrooms, parking lots, and more. This Dad sure loves his baby girl. 

The ladies got ready at the main residence on the property, popping bubbly, while the guys hauled in kegs of beer via pickups. After hair and makeup was finished, it was time to take a walk through the ever-magical fields (Chelsea wearing cowgirl boots - super cute and super smart) to a grove of trees for the first look. After goofing around a little with her groom and plenty of contagious laughing, Chelsea and Josh had their first look and joy over-filled his eyes when he gazed upon his gorgeous bride-to-be. 

We then headed over to Chelsea’s favorite tree where a beautiful ceremony would take place. Guests were transported down the driveway by a tractor, hay bale ride-style. Under the shade of an old and magnificent tree, they said their vows as a gentle breeze blew through each branch. It was something straight out of a fairytale. 

As the evening progressed, the party grew in excitement. These guys know how to throw a party! Soft twinkle lights spread across the dance floor and tables, while beer glasses clinked and the music filled the night air. The overall vibe from the day: HOME. It was truly a beautiful event and it was my honor to get to capture so many special memories.
