Katie and Matt’s wedding was nothing short of a vineyard dream, complete with fire oven pizza cooked on site. Did I mention pizza is my slight obsession? 

Katie and I first met at a wedding show in Elk Grove and I told her and her friend, Stephanie that day they would be my model brides, and wouldn’t you know it, I now display beautiful romantics photos from both weddings at my current shows. Not only are Katie and Matt a model couple, they are one of the sweetest couples I’ve met. No matter what, there is no wedding that is going to go 100% as planned, so through a couple of bumps of the day, they still enjoyed themselves to the max and focused on all of the many wonderful moments they shared together.

As far as details go, the ceremony and reception locations were Pinterest heaven. The ceremony had a fantastic geometric arch with the perfect amount of flowers framing the outlook over a huge vineyard. The reception took place at a glammed out barn with a plethora of chandeliers and greenery. They also made a custom light sign of their new shared last name above the bar. Katie printed some of her favorite images from their engagement session onto canvases and hung them above the cheese table. 

And how can we not mention that PERFECT wedding dress?! That dress was made for Katie. The illusion sides. Perfection. 

Aside from all of the on-point details and design, the best part of the wedding day and my favorite part, is getting to capture all of the reactions of the day. The first look of Katie’s Dad. Katie’s ladies seeing her in her dress for the first time. Matt seeing his stunning bride walk down the isle. And of course all of the moments in between and after. These are the moments Katie and Matt will share with their kids and grandkids through their album and prints and get to go back in time to those special moments.
