Imagine 4 high energy pups, a lightsaber war, and a beautiful, nerdy couple (my favorite kind - aka my people) looking so darn good in the golden light of sunset.

When Sarah told me some of her ideas for the shoot, I knew this session would be fantastically nerdy and I was all about it. How did we get their pups to look like charming little princes and princesses, you ask? With the help of a couple of behind the scenes miracle workers holding oodles of bribery. All of those sweet doggie faces were truly so much fun to photograph, and all the more rewarding to capture when they synchronized into smiling little cherubs. Did I mention dogs are the best? Sorry, cat people. (I love both, but let's face it, we all have our favorites.) 

Sarah and Jon's wedding will take place on May 4th next year (aka May the Fourth Be With You), so naturally we had to have a lightsaber battle take place. After the battle, there was an oh so cozy session of kisses, cuddling, and a little friendly (and slightly rough) dancing. In a nutshell, I had a blast with these two -- and I think they did too. ; ) Cheers!
