Leading up to the session, the rain had hit the Sacramento region. HARD. We had only one day that would work for everyone’s busy school/work schedules and what did weather.com predict? More rain. No matter what was going to happen, we were determined to have a blast, even if it meant getting a little wet. The day of the session had arrived, and the El Dorado Hills weather decided to smile on us and give us one big soft box of light to softly illuminate my lovely couple. Jeremy and Leslie rocked it. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect engagement session.

Jeremy's parents just so happened to have a gorgeous backyard leading into a trail through magical woods. What more could a girl ask for?

These two were seriously too cute. Truly beautiful from the inside out. 

As we walked down the trail, I noticed a small area that HAD to be photographed. After placing Leslie's ring amongst the wood and greenery, it was meant to be. 

Leslie and Jeremy were so much fun to shoot. It was a walk in the park, no woods. :) I can't wait to photograph their wedding up in the mountains at Bear Valley Lodge. Excited is an understatement.
